Rose – Area Manager
Level 6+ – BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies With EYPS (Teacher status)
Rose has been working in childcare since 1995 and has experience of working with all age groups from babies to school age children. Previous to opening Rosy Cheeks Nurseries in 201, Rose had managed several settings within Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. More recently Rose has become a Mental health First aider and has also completed her level 2 in Children and Adolescent Mental Health. Rose has two children of her own.
Cheryl – Manager
SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator)
Safeguarding officer
Level 5 – Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies
Cheryl has worked with children since 2007 and has worked with children aged 0-11 years old. Before joining Rosy Cheeks in 2011 Cheryl worked within a pre-school setting. Cheryl is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and she helped the setting gain its "SHINE" status. Cheryl has a son of her own.
Danielle – Toddler room leader (Big Cats) and Deputy Manager
Level 3 – Childcare, Learning and development
Danielle has been working with children since 2011 and is currently leader in the Big cats room. Danielle is a key worker and joined Rosy Cheeks in 2015. Danielle has two sons of her own.
Tilly – Baby Room leader (Kittens) and third in charge
Level 3 – Certificate in childcare in education
Tilly has been working in childcare since 2011. Tilly completed her level 3 qualification whilst being a student here at Rosy Cheeks Nursery and she gained employment with us straight from college. Tilly has completed Advanced Baby room practitioner training.
Clarissa - Early years practitioner (Term time only)
Level 3 - Early Educator
Clarissa has worked with children since 2011 and has experience of working with various age groups. Clarissa joined Rosy cheeks in 2021 and currently works in our Big Cats room.
Sophie - Early years practitioner
Level 3 - early learning and childcare.
Sophie qualified with her level 3 in 2021. She enjoys working with babies in our Kittens room and joined Rosy Cheeks Nurseries in August 2021. Sophie has completed Baby room practitioner training.
Courtney - Early years practitioner
Level 3 - Early educator
Courtney qualified in summer 2022 and Rosy Cheeks is her first job as a practitioner. She is currently based in our Tigers room working with our pre schoolers.
Sumayyah - Early Years Practitioner (term time only)
Level 3 - Diploma in Early years
Sumayyah joined Rosy Cheeks in 2020 and began her level 2 training.
Sumayyah has spent time within all of your rooms and Sumayyah is currently working in the Tigers room. Sumayyah completed her level 3 in July 2023
Shelley – Pre school room leader (Tigers)
Level 3 - Childcare and learning
Shelley has been working within childcare since 2003. She joined the Rosy Cheeks team in November 2015 after working in a before and after school club and also having her second child. Shelley has experience of working with children aged 0-16 years old. She has 2 children of her own.
Victoria – Toddler room leader (Little Cats)
Level 3 – Early Years Educator.
Victoria joined Rosy Cheeks in 2020. She has experience of nurseries and schools through her training placements. Victoria currently works with our younger toddlers.
Ebony - Early years practitioner
Level 3 Early Educator.
Ebony has worked with children since 2016 and has joined the Rosy Cheeks team in 2021 after moving to Stoke on Trent from outside the area. Previous to joining Rosy Cheeks Ebony had experience of working in a busy Pre school room.
Amy - Early years practitioner (Term time only)
Level 3 childrens care, learning and development.
Amy has worked with children since 2007 and has experience of working in early years settings. Amy has two sons of her own and enjoys spending the school holidays with them. Amy currently works in the big cats room.
Felicity - Early years practitioner (term time only)
Level 3 - Early Educator
Felicity joined us after completing her level 2 at Newcastle college and decided to complete her level 3 via an apprenticeship here at Rosy Cheeks. Felicity currently works in our Big Cats room.
Amy - Early years Apprentice
level 2 - Children's care, learning and development
Amy joined us in 2023 after a short break from Childcare when she had her son. Amy previously completed her level 2 training and has experience of working in other Early years settings. Amy is completing her level 3 training with us and is currently working in the Little Cats room.
